Brand Seasons Podcast

Posted on May 1, 2024 by Sarah Robertson

This week marks the launch of the Brand Seasons podcast, where we explore the rhythms of our creative lives and work.

As a designer, mentor, and writer, I’m curious about the cycles that drive our business endeavours and creative practices, and my brand new podcast is an invitation for you to dig into this with me.

Since I first started guesting on other podcast shows, I found my confidence was growing around sharing insights, learnings and stories.

The story behind the podcast

Brand Seasons began with observing the cycles in my mentoring practice, where I support businesses and creatives with their brand strategy, styling, and storytelling. Over time, I started tinkering with a framework which charts the phases of Sowing, Blossoming, Harvesting, and Grounding—concepts you’ll recognise in nature and perhaps in your own home and work life.

The podcast is an extension of this method, offering a new way for me to connect with you and share knowledge about the power of tuning into our inner and outer seasons and the lessons they can teach us, especially around the cyclical nature of our businesses and creativity.

Our solo & guest episodes

Through a blend of solo episodes and guest conversations, we delve into how the seasons can influence and enhance our input and output, with the first ten episodes offering insights to help you nurture your ideas, manage busy and quiet periods, and renew your energy.

So whether you’re brainstorming a new concept, deep in the creative process, or taking necessary downtime, there’s something here to support you.

I’m also excited to connect this podcast with my Brand Seasons publication on Substack, where you’ll find bonus content, including articles, essays and materials from our guests. My hope is for this digital space to complement each episode and delve more deeply into the topics of branding and business.

How to support the podcast

If you enjoy the episodes, I’d be so grateful if you could leave a review and subscribe. Your feedback helps me develop the podcast and makes it more discoverable for new listeners.

Feel free to connect with me on Instagram and Pinterest, and if you like what you hear, please share the podcast trailer with friends who are just as curious about creativity and seasonality.

I can’t wait to share this new chapter with you and hope it brings fresh ideas and inspiration to your business and creative practice.

This season of the podcast is sponsored by Saorsa Psychology.

In Gaelic, Saorsa means ‘freedom’—serving as a beacon for those eager to amplify their impact in the world.

Freedom lies in being bold, and if you’re looking for deeper meaning, you can carve your own path with a combination of coaching and psychology, where you’ll be guided through the wood, the trees and the spaces in between.

Run by Sarah Philp, this coaching and psychology practice helps individuals, businesses and organisations to calmly and gently support themselves in their lives and work.
